REIKI ATTUNEMENT

THE ATTUNEMENT

The Reiki attunement is a ritual / process through which the candidate is attuned to the universal source of energy. The attunement consists of three main components:
- a physical component where the master follows a certain ritual pattern;
- an energetic component where certain energetic centers open and energetic meridians are cleansed;
- a spiritual component where the candidate receives a number of Light guides, self-knowledge and gifts from the Divinity.
All these are offered by God for us to evolve and fulfill our personal mission on this planet. The more the attunements, the higher the master’s and the candidate’s responsibility towards himself / herself, towards people he / she has to teach or help, towards God.

THE CLEANSING CRISIS   

After all Reiki attunement, there occurs a so-called cleansing crisis. It lasts for about 21 days, when self-treatment should be done daily. This crisis appears as a result of the fact that the candidate / practitioner has been attuned to a higher energy, while his / her body detains negative energies and entities which will be eliminated when the inner vibration grows. In the cleansing process, these energies and entities will go through the person’s fields, causing pain sometimes. Consequently, in the first 21 days after the attunement, it is possible, not necessary, that you experience pain, don’t worry, your body is being cleansed.
The cleansing process may have various manifestations: flu symptoms, running nose, cough, sneezing, frequent urinating, urine change of color and smell, women’s period changes. There may also appear yawning, numbness, insomnia, sweating.
Daily self-treatment and intensive hydration ( preferably holy water or drinks that have been energized) are highly recommended during the cleansing process.
