DISTAL ATTUNEMENTS ON THE INTERNET

I have come across this problem of free distal attunements on the internet lately. I have also met a few people who have become masters via Internet as well as other people with problems. I would like to develop this topic a little bit for those who want to know the advantages and the disatvantages of the on-line attunement system. The truth is that troubles may occur in this kind of practice. We should not blame Reiki for these or the system in cause or the masters who do the attunements. I think the fault lies in the lack of knowledge of these masters.
For some people these attunements may appear very attractive since they don’t have to pay or work for them. Hence, on the internet you can become a master in a few weeks / months on dozens of systems. I know cases when people had 2-3 mastery level attunments a day. No wonder there are masters with lots of diplomas and no knowledge. Not that I’m a lot better, but the ounce of knowledge I have more (a gift from God that belongs to God) prevents me from making mistakes and hurting myself and the others.

I will present in the following lines the problems that may rise during distal attunements. First of all we should consider the lack of knowledge of the person being attuned. I have studied distal attunements myself, and I know how it is done. You are attuned and then you’re sent a manual on your email. I know no Qi-Qong master or Christian Orthodox priest to have learnt from books. I haven’t seen yet a Reiki manual that could teach you more than what you learn from personal experience and practice. And for the diploma “hunters” I remind them that it is not the number of diplomas or Reiki systems that makes them better, but what they can do with them. People don’t appreciate things they get too easily or for free. For instance if I get attuned on Shamballa Reiki (one of the most important Reiki systems), and then I pass on to get attuned on another system without learning meditation techniques or using the energies and symbols, then it’s all in vain. Doing other systems and reading manuals won’t make me a real master.

One should also consider the spiritual part of an initiation. All Reiki initiation makes you rise to a different karmic level. However you can’t get to the 10th heaven level in the split of a second, because there are changes, karmic debts, the rise of self-consciousness, so that you can finally evolve. Here the master has a crucial role, because he / she have to know if and when the pupil is ready to go on, or whether he / she should wait a little longer. We are unique and so is our way and evolution rhythm. Getting attunements three times a day/week/month will only accelerate your karma, hence your debts. In such a case one may pay through suffering: illness, accident, loss of house or job, breaking up, bankruptcy. One shouldn’t blame Reiki for these misfortunes because like all thing done without thinking it can turn wrong. For instance, food is not dangerous, but there are people who get sick because of too much eating on holidays.

Another reason for the troubles caused by distal attunements is the healing crisis. It lasts for 21 days so one shouldn’t have other attunements done during that period. Why should anyone have 10 attunements done in only one month? The answer is ignorance, lack of knowledge and interest. During an attunement the inner vibration rises, and in the aftermath, for those 21 days, the physical and energetic bodies have to be brought to the same vibration level. If I get too many attunements in a certain interval of time inner vibration rises abruptly and it burns. Hence the healing crisis due to the elimination of toxic residues, evil energies and entities from the body will be very harsh. It is as Jesus said “one cannot pour new wine in old barrels”, first you need to clean the barrels, otherwise you do harm to yourselves. Or how to warm frozen hands? You won’t put them into hot water.
Another issue that distal attunements raise regards the Reiki masters who take over the student’s karma during each and every attunement. The principle for this is quiet simple, as Jesus said; the stronger should bear the burden of the weaker. Consequently every master takes over part of the student’s karma, for the later to rise. Just think of those who do 20 attunements a day, 30 days a month, there are 600 attunements every month during which they take over karmic problems, plus their own sins. No wonder they and their families have problems. Somebody has to pay, and if you only take over and have no idea about paying, what then?

Every master has a limit regarding the number of attunements he / she can do. If you pass that limit, you’re in trouble. I am deeply sorry that those who know don’t inform the ignorant. I also understand that when people hear about karma and karmic debts they run away. There are many opinions about karma, but if you have knowledge you should let people know what happens to them.
I hope I am well-understood. Last, but not least, I want to remind you that it is not the number of systems that makes you a good Reiki master or therapist, what really counts is help you give to the others with the gift God has offered you. Otherwise you are just a COLLECTIONER!
